This year HMS opted to celebrate our middle school homecoming and the beautiful season of fall with the theme “Fall Into Victory with HMS Homecoming!” Students from HMS and teachers from HES created scarecrows along with learning activities reached by scanning the QR code on many of the scarecrows. For example, if you’d like to have a lesson on poetry, guests are invited to scan the code on Mrs. Tedford’s class witch. Not feeling studious, scan Mr. Popper’s Penguin, for a movie trailer of the book/movie. These are on display all week. The public is invited to attend day or night to take a walk through the scarecrows. They are lit up at night for easy viewing. We suggest you park at the lower level stadium guest parking to begin your tour. Thanks to every student, teacher, staff member, and Tracy Estes, for helping with this event.
