Today we celebrate superheroes—our incredible paraprofessionals!
You may not wear capes, but you show up every day with strength, patience, and heart. You lift others up, support every student’s journey, and make every day better. Your impact changes lives in ways that can’t always be measured!
Thank you for being champions in the classroom and heroes in our schools. We appreciate you more than words can say.

Haleyville City Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to the potential for hazardous road conditions caused by ice! The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we are providing advance notice to allow families and employees time to make necessary arrangements. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, prioritize safety, and monitor official school communication channels for additional updates. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Dr. Bill Bishop, Superintendent Haleyville City Schools
