We had some welding and automotive students competing a Bevill in Sumiton today. Congrats to Even Howard for placing 1st in Automotive Service Technology!!
We have had two HES students who had a house fire yesterday and have extensive damage to their home. We will be having a district wide hat day on Friday, March 14th, to support this family. Students can wear a hat for a $1.00 donation. You can also send extra donations of money, gift cards, or clothing to HES. We will ensure that the family receives these donations. In celebration of Career and Technical Education month our programs visited the Haleyville Middle School. Instructors, along with students, presented their programs and led HMS students in various hands on exercises.
