Our Haleyville Lions are coming together to lend a helping paw to families in need this holiday season! ❤️
Haleyville City Schools is hosting a district-wide food drive and we need YOUR help to make it a success!
Each grade level has been assigned a specific food item to donate. Check out the attached list to see what your student is encouraged to bring! Donations will be collected at each school between November 2–19, 2026.
❤️ Who will benefit?
All donations will support Harvest for Hope and help provide Christmas dinner food boxes for HCS families in need.
From our youngest Cubs to our graduating seniors, every Lion has an opportunity to make a difference!

The Alabama Parent Education Center supports underserved families in Alabama by providing training and resources to enhance parental involvement in education. The upcoming trainings will focus on enhancing parental involvement, supporting families with children with disabilities.

HCS Special Education Department is hosting a t-shirt fundraiser for Autism Awareness Day! Autism Awareness Day is April 2nd (4/02). Our theme will be 402 LIONS GO BLUE! Shirts are $20. Order forms will go home 3/12 and are due 3/19.. If anyone else would like to purchase, forms will be available in offices and BOE. You may also contact Christy Bice.
