Due to misinformation and rumors circulating concerning school violence, you will see increased police presence around Haleyville City Schools when deemed necessary. There have been no threats of violence in Haleyville City Schools. Students and parents have shared threats from other districts, most outside of our state, which increases anxiety about school violence. We will continue to take any precaution necessary to ensure the safety of our students. HCS Block Party is Thursday night! We will be ready to welcome students and parents at 5:00 pm. Meet the Lions will begin at 6:30 pm. Those who are setting up booths can begin setting up at 3:30 pm and should be ready by 4:45 pm. As a reminder, those with booths will need to supply your own tables, chairs, and tents if you would like one. This is going to be a fun night for our schools!
